Aboitiz Foundation released P10.8M worth of microfinance packages to its 15 existing partner organizations last February 29, 2012.

These partner organizations include St. Vincent Neighborhood MPC, South Cebu Hog Raisers MPC, Tabla MPC, Bonbon MPC, Tabionan Farmers Association, LLC Muslim Ambulant Vendors MPC, Cabancalan Urban Poor and Resettlement MPC, Basak San Nicolas MPC, Big Daddy Credit Cooperative, Cebu Megamoms MPC, St. Peter Women’s Association, Sitio Maraag Sudlon II Farmers Association, Paril Farmer Scientist Association, Agsungot Farmer Association, and Talisay City Brgy. Health Workers MPC.

These organizations will use the funds to support their livelihood projects like swine fattening, consumers’ store, farm productivity, rice trading and other livelihood development projects.

This quarter’s release constitutes only 36 percent of the total 2012 budget for microfinance program of the Aboitiz Foundation.
