Thursday, March 29, 2012

Aboitiz Foundation is now accepting applicants for its High School Scholarship Program for the school year 2012-2013. The program is open to all public elementary school students who graduated valedictorians.

This year, Aboitiz Foundation will get 150 scholars from the DepEd city divisions of Cebu, Mandaue, Talisay, Lapu-lapu, Carcar, Danao, Toledo, Naga, Bogo, and Cebu Province.

In order to qualify for the scholarship, the student must graduate as valedictorian in a public elementary school with a general average of at least 85% and must be willing to enroll in a public high school.

Having meet the following qualifications, the applicants will then take the qualifying exam administered by the foundation. The chosen scholar will receive financial assistance and will have the chance to become one of the Aboitiz Foundation college scholars.

Application kits are available at your school’s principal office or at the DepEd division offices. Deadline of submission of the application kits will be on April 13, 2012. For more information, you can contact Katrina Balones, scholarship officer of Aboitiz Foundation at 411-1800 local 1441.
